Lace Earring Frame

We are cleaning out and remodeling the upstairs floor of my mom’s house to be a blog/craft space. She has YEARS worth of jewelry materials amassed and actually a ton of finished pieces of jewelry, mostly earrings. So I got to work creating some creative ways to store and display her finished pieces. This is just the first sample, and I will post more as I finish them. I have tons of ideas so stay tuned!

I found this frame at the Goodwill store for $1.99. I threw the glass away and ripped everything off the back. You only want the frame remaining.

Then I took two different kinds of lace and the glue gun and attached strips of lace to the back of the frame. Attach one side of the lace strip first, let the glue dry completely, then attach the other side. This way, you can pull the lace really taut and it won’t sag when you hang earrings on it.

The last step was to attach a piece of lace on the back for hanging! Project complete! So simple, and isn’t it pretty?!
